The Woodboard CRBN is the high‑performance flagship for riders seeking a kiteboard that excels in freeride as well as in hooked and unhooked freestyle. Thanks to its extremely low water resistance, the kiteboard planes very early and enables effortless, efficient upwind riding and fast takeoffs. The pronounced channels ensure a straight, controlled line and a very direct riding feel, while the kiteboard responds precisely and clearly to every steering impulse. The edge grips firmly in the water, provides strong feedback, and makes it easy to build tension for powerful pop maneuvers. Its full‑carbon construction delivers an impressive combination of low weight and high durability.
The CRBN is a versatile freeride kiteboard designed for ambitious kitesurfers who value performance and control. It is ideal for relaxed cruising, dynamic sessions, and powerful jumps. Hooked freestyle and old‑school moves are easy to perform thanks to the board’s stability and agility. Construction
The high‑quality full 3D carbon construction combines a lightweight yet robust Paulownia wood core with a full carbon layer on the top and bottom. This material combination provides an optimal balance of flex, stability, and durability. Curved channels on both sides, together with a simple concave, improve water flow, increase grip, and ensure a controlled, smooth ride—even in choppy conditions.
The narrowing channels create a hydrodynamic reaction: due to the Bernoulli (Venturi) effect, the water flow beneath the board accelerates and gains energy. This additional energy results in extra lift, giving the kiteboard its impressive low‑end performance and providing an advantage during takeoff to gain extra height.

Development
During the latest development phase, the CRBN was further refined and adapted to Woodboard’s highest quality and performance standards. In addition to the established full‑surface carbon layer inside the kiteboard, two additional fiberglass stringers have been added in the binding‑insert area. This targeted reinforcement noticeably improves flex distribution while increasing the structural stability of the board.
With this new construction, Woodboard sets a clear statement: maximum performance, uncompromising durability, and a noticeable increase in comfort. The CRBN presents itself as a technically advanced high‑end kiteboard that excites both ambitious freeriders and demanding freestylers, delivering its full potential in every session.
The 4.5 cm 3G fins are mounted using a single‑screw system, allowing even flex distribution all the way to the tips. This keeps the board lively and responsive without sacrificing stability.
